Risk Disclosure
Last updated:
Trading crypto assets, perpetual futures, derivatives, leveraged positions, and agent-driven or algorithmic strategies is highly risky. You can lose all of your capital, and losses can happen quickly.
This document is a summary of key risks only. It does not describe every possible risk or every market condition. You should use the Services only if you understand these risks and can bear a total loss.
1. Market risk
Crypto markets are volatile. Prices may move sharply and unpredictably in short periods. Market structure can change rapidly, and extreme moves may occur during illiquid periods or stressed market conditions.
2. Leverage and liquidation risk
Leverage magnifies both gains and losses. Small price moves can have a disproportionately large effect on your position. If margin requirements are not met, your positions may be liquidated automatically, potentially at a loss and without further notice.
3. Execution and slippage risk
Orders may execute at worse prices than expected because of slippage, latency, partial fills, market gaps, reduced liquidity, or venue-specific rules. Stops, limits, and safeguards may not always work as intended in fast or dislocated markets.
4. Technology and infrastructure risk
The Services depend on software, models, APIs, exchanges, chains, wallets, bridges, cloud systems and third-party infrastructure. Outages, bugs, cyber incidents, chain congestion, bridge failure, smart-contract vulnerabilities, and connectivity problems can delay, prevent, misroute, or impair trading activity and data.
5. AI / model risk
Scores, signals, analytics, prompts and agent behaviour may be wrong, stale, incomplete, unsuitable, or unavailable. Model outputs may degrade over time, perform differently in new market regimes, or reflect incorrect or incomplete inputs. Past performance, recent performance, or historical backtests do not guarantee future results.
6. Agentic / automated trading risk
If you activate an agent or other automated feature, orders may be generated and submitted within the limits you selected. Revoking access may not automatically cancel or unwind orders already submitted. Agents may drift, fail, pause, or react poorly to market changes, and multiple losses may occur before intervention takes effect.
7. Counterparty, chain, and settlement risk
You may be exposed to risks arising from exchanges, venues, chains, bridges, wallets, validators, token issuers, or counterparties. Delays, insolvency, operational failures, or settlement issues can affect your ability to access assets, exit positions, or recover value.
8. Regulatory and legal risk
Laws, regulations, sanctions rules, and local restrictions can change quickly. A feature that is available today may become restricted, suspended, or unavailable later. You are responsible for ensuring that your use of the Services is lawful where you are located.
9. No deposit protection or guaranteed recovery
Assets used through the Services are not bank deposits and are not protected by any deposit guarantee or investor compensation scheme unless expressly stated otherwise. In the event of loss, hack, failure, liquidation, or adverse market movement, recovery may be limited or unavailable.
10. Your responsibility
You are solely responsible for your trading decisions, risk limits, position sizing, leverage settings, and whether to activate or continue using a feature. If you do not fully understand these risks, you should not use the Services.
